Horse Trials and Dressage Shows
We compete in both recognized and unrecognized shows. Eventing is a very intense sport. It requires an abundance of dedication and time to safely compete at any level. To be able to attend a recognized show, you must own a horse or half-lease a Fox Ridge Stable horse.
In addition, you must be able to actively participate in a training program lead by Courtney, which includes:
* Off-property schooling for both cross-country and show jumping
* A fitness plan to ensure your horse is fit to compete
* Lessons for both dressage and jumping
* Attending show prep/training meetings

Schooling Shows
In addition to horse trials and dressage shows, we also attend several schooling and “fun” shows every year. This gives the younger riders a chance to relax and have fun with the horses, and gives the older youth and adult riders a chance to practice in a less formal venue before competing in recognized shows.
